Course Overview

This online module is designed to facilitate the training of the equivalent of

six (6) contact hours of continuing education, accredited by the Institute of Education

Continuous of the College of Social Work Professionals of Puerto Rico. This module is a conceptualization of the author based on the training obtained and the professional practice in the execution of the theme of the course or module. It consists of three sections:

1. Definition and Nature of Alzheimer’s
2. Alzheimer’s Symptoms: Significant Changes
3.  Basic tips for caring for a person with Alzheimer’s on a day-to-day basis, the role. How to link family members with services in the community?
